HMQS Show 2011

This was our booth at HMQS this year. We had so many customers from last year come and visit us and share all the projects they are making with punch needle on quilts. We got to see Debbie from http://www.elkhornquilts.com/
                                                     and Vanna from http://www.quickpointsruler.com/.
Her name is really Karen, but I call her Vanna because she is always acting like Vanna White.  She is so fun and we love to see each outfit she comes in for the shows.

"Gone Fishin"
HMQS Show Honorable Mention

"Gone Fishin"
Just look at the quilting !

This is our Gone Fishin' quilt. We entered this quilt in the quilt show and were so excited when we received an Honorable Mention ribbon.  All the trees have punch needle embroidery which really makes the motifs pop.  The quilting was extraordinary. My talented sister, JoLynn Dickamore from http://www.just4funquilting.com/  did all the beautiful quilting.
QUILT Market 2011 Salt Lake City, Utah
This is our new Happy Days quilt. It includes patchwork piecing, applique, 3d  flowers, punch needle and the most beautiful quilting from JoLynn Dickamore my great long arm quilter.
My husband, Uncle Susie and our son Jay in our booth at market.
Peggy and Skip Ackfeld from http://www.ackfeldwire.com/. They make all the wonderful wires for our projects. That is our Nativity design on the mantle in the background.  They are celebrating their 25th year.  Congratulations to them for wonderful projects. Please visit their web site for all the new stuff. The new stand alone quilt racks are the best.
This is Julie from http://www.patchabilities.com/. Her booth was kitty corner from ours.
She always has great designs that are fast and easy.

Our next door neighbors were Thankfully Sew, Teri and her daughter Michelle are loads of fun.
Their web site http://www.thankfullysew.com/ has terrific designs.
We were kindred spirits. Hopefully we will see them again soon.
We were happy to see Kari, from http://www.freshcutquilts.com/  and her friend Tina
We are doing a trunk show for their guild on June 9th at the Sandy Park.
Cori from http://www.chitterchatterdesign.com/ and Jill from http://www.jilllilystudios.com/ had wonderful booths.
Patti Connor from http://www.samsarahdesigns.com/ has some wonderful new books
plus I got to meet the wonderful sisters from Me & My Sisters.

Our Nativity punch needle design is our very best seller.  It is so fun because we have customers learn punch needle embroidery just to make the Nativity set. We are pleased to present our Nativity Table Topper.
It looks beautiful with the punch needle mini quilts. In this design feel free to embroider the motifs and color with crayons or punch needle the motifs to match the mini quilts.
