I love the caring and sharing. I love the holiday food. A special thanks to all of you who have purchased our designs and those we meet at shows. It is so fun to share with people who have the same interest as you. I have learned lots of new techniques this year and can't wait to try new ones in the future.

HMQS Show 2011

This was our booth at HMQS this year. We had so many customers from last year come and visit us and share all the projects they are making with punch needle on quilts. We got to see Debbie from http://www.elkhornquilts.com/

Just look at the quilting !

This is our Gone Fishin' quilt. We entered this quilt in the quilt show and were so excited when we received an Honorable Mention ribbon.  All the trees have punch needle embroidery which really makes the motifs pop.  The quilting was extraordinary. My talented sister, JoLynn Dickamore from http://www.just4funquilting.com/  did all the beautiful quilting.

This is our new Happy Days quilt. It includes patchwork piecing, applique, 3d  flowers, punch needle and the most beautiful quilting from JoLynn Dickamore my great long arm quilter.

Our Nativity punch needle design is our very best seller.  It is so fun because we have customers learn punch needle embroidery just to make the Nativity set. We are pleased to present our Nativity Table Topper.

It looks beautiful with the punch needle mini quilts. In this design feel free to embroider the motifs and color with crayons or punch needle the motifs to match the mini quilts.

Dixie Quilt Festival

In April we traveled to beautiful St. George, Utah for the Dixie Quilt festival.  We love this Show. The quilters are wonderful.  We meet new friends and visit with old friends. Susan and her staff at the Dixie Center are the best.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. The Saturday after Thanksgiving; my family gathers together and we hand dip about 60 lbs. of chocolate. Our children are 4th generation candy makers on both sides of the family. We all love this tradition.  Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you. Enjoy your family and give them a hug.

Fun Classes

At the Quilt Fest a couple of weeks ago I met Kathleen and Mary Beth from Salt Lake City. They came to my house yesterday and we had a punch needle class. It was so fun. They are great women with wonderful sense of humors.  Mary Beth has 21 adopted children. Is that not great ? I admire her for her caring for others in such a great way.  If you are interested in learning the art of punch needle embroidery , gather a few friends and come and learn this great needle art.
